WHO WE ARE

TERRY BRUMPTON
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Having run Midland Sports Promotions Limited for 30 years, Terry went on to enjoy a long association with Hednesford Town FC as Managing Director which saw him guide the club through its most successful period.
Following the move into the new, purpose-built, Keys Park, The Pitmen were members of the top-flight of the non-League game for six years, reaching the fourth round of the FA Cup in 1997 where they narrowly lost at then top-flight, Middlesbrough and won the FA Trophy in 2004.

Terry was at the heart of it all, overseeing the day-to-day running of all aspects of the club, securing a range of sponsorships, selling advertising and hospitality, editing the award-winning Matchday Programme, arranging numerous high-profile pre-season friendly matches and organising a programme of events and functions that allowed the club to match the progress they were making on the field, off-the-pitch.

Leaving Hednesford Town in 2008 in order to concentrate on the ever-expanding JJ Sports Promotions, things have really taken off since then.

The company now works with over 30 clubs throughout the UK and there have been some notable success stories, such as securing almost £100,000 worth of sponsorship for a Football League club in just five months, developing a commercial department from scratch at Clevedon Town, which is still reaping benefits today, bringing in a then-record shirt sponsorship deal for Crawley Town as well as securing many new sponsors and developing a range of hospitality packages and events that the club had never previously had.

And that’s not mentioning the ever-increasing stable of club’s whose Matchday Programme and brochures are in Terry’s safe and very capable hands!
