PROGRAMMES FEATURED HIGHLY IN END OF SEASON AWARDS
Soccer Club Swap Shop have published their end of season Programme of the Year Awards and programmes produced by JJ Sports Promotions Ltd have figured highly in the final countdown with three of our clubs walking off with Programme of the Year Awards.
In the Southern League Central Division the Programme of the Year Award went to STOURBRIDGE FC who have published a high quality 48 page full colour programme all season.
The JJ Sports Promotions team of Andy Poole and John Birchall deserve a great deal of credit as does Nigel Gregg who has contributed many articles to the excellent publication.
Another JJ Sports Promotions programme, HITCHIN TOWN, was voted into second place behind winners Stourbridge and again the club have produced a terrific 40 page edition all season.
Edited by the club`s Mick Docking and helped by the JJ Sports Promotions team of Terry Brumpton and Lee Wood the programme has been an excellent read throughout the season.
In the Isthmian Premier Division ENFIELD TOWN was voted the Programme of the Year and the deserve great credit for another terrific publication which is printed by ourselves.
Over in the Isthmian South Central Division the matchday programme of NORTHWOOD was voted into first place and another Programme of the Year for JJ Sports Promotions Ltd.
Alan Evans and Ken Green, along with JJ Sports Promotions Terry Brumpton and John Birchall have produced a fantastic thirty two page programme that is full of reading and a great credit to the club.
The Soccer Club Swap Shop have been running their awards for many years and this time they received over 650 entries.
In the end the Stourbridge programme ended in joint fifteenth spot, with Hitchin Town in joint twenty fifth spot along with Enfield Town
Northwood was voted into joint fifteenth and although the Kettering Town programme, another produced by JJ Sports Promotions Ltd didn`t win any divisional awards it was still voted into joint thirtieth in the country.
Overall then it has been another successful season for JJ Sports Promotions Ltd and its stable of clubs and we are already looking forward to the beginning of the new season, whenever that is of course.
In closing I would like to thank all of our dedicated team who work so hard, often into the early hours of the morning, for their efforts throughout another demanding season.
Our thanks also to go to all of our clubs for their support and let`s hope that we can all get through this terrible pandemic and come out the other side soon as soon as possible.
